Our Approach

When you enter our virtual office, we want you to be confident that you are receiving high quality care based on current mental health research. We pride ourselves on having a relaxed, conversational style that seamlessly integrates evidenced based practices. Jessica Jacobs, LCSW

Jessica is currently out on maternity leave and not able to accept new therapy or evaluation clients at this time.

Jessica Jacobs, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in the treatment of trauma and anxiety-related disorders. Prior to starting Willow Grove Wellness, Jessica worked in a variety of roles in community mental health, sexual assault advocacy, and disaster response. As a practicing therapist in outpatient and school settings, Jessica has seen the impact that quality care can have on client's lives. She enjoys watching her clients make positive changes and feel empowered to face life's many challenges with confidence.

In her personal life, Jessica is mom of three and a past foster parent to many. She enjoys hiking, swimming and cooking.

Kay Harstad, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in the treatment of trauma and anxiety-related disorders. Kay has worked in a variety of roles in community mental health, child welfare, and primary care as an integrated health therapist. Kay believes that everyone deserves a safe, unbiased person to process emotions and situations. It has been a privilege to walk along client’s sides as they face unbearable emotions and situations. Kay enjoys watching her clients learn how to thrive and just not survive.

Kay utilizes evidenced based practices: Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solutions Focused Therapy and Mindfulness. Kay is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). 
 

In her personal life she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, hiking, boxing, and fostering animals.
